“Jethro came highly recommended to us by our old Leaside neighbour, so we contacted him to discuss our unique situation.
My wife and I had plans to sell our house two years in advance. We knew exactly where we were going to move and wanted to be organized. Jethro was very good at giving us a run-down of where he thought the Leaside market was going and what we could do to prepare.
Despite our planning, we ended up in a situation where a great house became available in Bracebridge—where we wanted to live—a year before we were planning to move. Jethro gave us a lot of help and guidance on how to manage two houses at once. It worked out very well for us in the end, thanks to his invaluable advice.
We were out of the country when it finally came time to sell our house, which was another challenging situation for Jethro. He worked very hard at getting everything organized and sold the house smoothly considering our absence.
We wouldn’t have gone with Jethro unless my wife and I were both comfortable working with him, which we were. There’s a toughness about a good Realtor and though Jethro doesn’t come across as being tough, he was certainly firm and confident. In addition, he had excellent market knowledge and was both thorough and communicative.
It has been a great experience working with him. His knowledge, advice and guidance were very importance to us. Every time we wanted to talk to him, he was available. He handled a bunch of “Nervous Nelly” calls when we were getting cold feet over some things, but he was always there to address our concerns. He even called us while he was on vacation!
We highly recommend Jethro. As a seller, the Toronto market is a no brainer right now. If you’ve got a house, it’s going to sell. The challenging part is knowing whether or not you’ll get a fair price.
