“We originally met Jethro at our son’s preschool where his daughter also attended. We recognized him from the advertisements and notepads he sends out to our neighbourhood.
Rather spontaneously, we had spoken to the sellers of a home in Davisville about potentially purchasing their home. We grew interested in buying this house, but we wanted to know what we could get for the current house to make sure we could comfortably afford the move. We didn’t have a real estate agent, so we emailed Jethro. He came over the very next morning, which we really appreciated.
We weren’t sure of what we could get for our old home since we never formally searched for other properties. Jethro offered to take us to a competing house that day because he really wanted to make sure we knew what else was out there and had an idea of what the market was like. He had our best interest at heart. During the process of checking out other homes, it made us love the original one all the more and we ended up buying it a few days later.
Jethro brought us his plan to sell our home. His market knowledge was really good. I was impressed with the information he gave us – we got to see everything laid out in front of us, along with what was going on in the area. With only a couple days of showings, he got our home tons of attention. Within just three days, he brought us an offer at our asking price and closing date preference, which was 6 months out.
Since everything moved really quickly, it felt a little stressful at times, but at the same time it was a huge relief to get both transactions done within a week. We were really happy and he made sure the entire process was manageable for us.
Jethro certainly exceeded our expectations of a real estate professional. I think agents should acquire lots of market knowledge since some buyers like myself didn’t know too much about it. I tend to be very meticulous, but Jethro listened to my needs and truly catered to our family.
We still keep in touch to this day because he’s such a great market resource. He’s a friendly guy and knows quite a few people in the neighbourhood.
