In October of 2013, 19 homes changed hands in Leaside & Bennington Heights, which is 1 more than October of 2012. In addition, the average dollar value of these transactions was up by 9.2%. There were 15 detached homes sold in both October 2013 & 2012. The 3 semi-detached homes that sold had an average value increase of 3.5%, while detached homes increased 10% in value. Last year, the average October monthly value for all homes sold in Leaside and Bennington Heights was $1,164,006 compared to $1,270,750 this year.
Leaside & Bennington Heights year-to-date home sale volumes are also up, from 165 in 2012 to 190 in 2013 — a gain of 15.2%. Detached home sales are up 5.2% for the year, and the volume of semi-detached home sales is up 70.4% to date in 2013.

The lowest was $515,000 for a semi-detached bungalow in June 2013.
As of November 7th 2013, there were 22 homes available in Leaside and Bennington Heights. They range from a 2 bedroom semi detached bungalow listed for $594,900 to a house very large lot in Bennington Heights listed at $3,295,000.
